Hello all,
Yesterday i started to use rdiff-backup.
I create my backup like this
rdiff-backup /home/paul /mnt/extra/paul_backup
today i created my first incremental backup like this
/usr/bin/rdiff-backup -v 6 --exclude /home/paul/.mozilla/paul/u7k3dbhc.slt/Cache \
/home/paul /mnt/extra/paul_backup/

I read the log and saw lines like these
Incrementing mirror file /mnt/extra/paul_backup/.mozilla/paul/u7k3dbhc.slt/Cache/037D58F1d01
and i was wondering why?Since i exclude that dir.
Secondly, i deleted 2 files form my home dir and i tried to find a way to restore them.
But, i didn't find any rdiff-backup options to do that.
i tried rdiff-backup --force scripts.2002-08-29T19\:07\:41+03\:00.dir, i chose this because
under scripts directory was the 2 files which i deleted.
I got error that it can not overwrite the source dir so i gave rdiff-backup \
--force scripts.2002-08-29T19\:07\:41+03\:00.dir /home/paul/scripts2
but it didn't restore my files.
So i was wondering, on monday i did full backup,on tuesday i made a incremental backup and
after that i deleted a file, why can i restore this file to my home dir with rdiff-backup?

Thanks in advance,
Pavlos
