Hi,

i use rdiff-backup v 0.8, it's a great tool. Until now i did
not need to restore my data :-)

When i read the man page i did not find information on how
rdiff-backup decides which backup to use if the "-r restore_time"

a) is not specific enough (multiple backups belonging to the
   specified date range, e.g. ... -r 3D ... with two backups
   three days ago)

b) does not match any backup (no backups belonging to the specified
date range; e.g. ...-r 3D ... with backups two days ago and
   seven days ago)

I think this should be explained in the man pages "RESTORING"
section and perhaps explained with examples in the "EXAMPLES"
section.

Ciao, Gregor
