No change to directories but mirrors incremented

Hi

I'm using rdiff-backup 0.95 to backup a directory tree from a server to a
backup server. The command line is

rdiff-backup -v5 --ssh-no-compression --exclude
ignorecase:/shared/admin/pcntl/local /shared golux::/shared

and runs daily from cron.

I have noticed that two directories (out of several hundred) give this each
time, although no files have changed within the directories:

Incrementing mirror file /shared/Data/Old Computers/Kamco/UTILS
Incrementing mirror file /shared/Data/padspwr/LogicFiles

Just the directories are being repeatedly backed-up, not the contents.

Stat-ing the first shows

Can anyone explain why this should be happenning?
