First the 'you were right':
The syntax error message was caused by rdiff-backup not "seeing" my
install of Python2. When I changed the first line of the script to point
to Python2, it worked.
Now the question:
When restoring from the backups, does rdiff-backup only restore files
that are different from the restore set, or does it do a complete
restore regardless of what is already on the source directory?
