Hello,
I've had some problems building rdiff-backup 0.9.2 on Solaris - this
is the tail ed of the messages...
<unknown> 0x17c
/usr/local/lib/librsync.a(msg.o)
<unknown> 0x178
/usr/local/lib/librsync.a(msg.o)

/usr/local/lib/librsync.a(msg.o)
<unknown> 0x3c
/usr/local/lib/librsync.a(msg.o)
<unknown> 0xa4
/usr/local/lib/librsync.a(msg.o)
ld: fatal: relocations remain against allocatable but non-writable sections
error: command 'gcc' failed with exit status 1
I've fixed this error before (on other packages) by adding -fPIC to the gcc
flags in the makefile. But I can't see a Makefile here, and I don't know
enough about Python to track it down. Any ideas?
